Ed Hodskins

Mr. Hodskins has been a partner of the firm since 1980. He graduated summa cum laude from Brescia University in 1974 with a degree in political science and received his JD from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, in 1977. Mr. Hodskins is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Daviess County Bar Association. He is a frequent presenter at various estate planning and probate seminars. Terra W. Knight 

Mrs. Knight has been a partner with the firm since 2013, starting as an associate in 2007. She is a native of Whitesville, Kentucky, having graduated from Whitesville Trinity High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law in 2005.Mrs. Knight is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Daviess County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the federal courts of the Western District of Kentucky, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the Kentucky Supreme Court. Mrs. Knight currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Owensboro Area Chamber of Commerce and is legal counsel for the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission. Nick Volk

Mr. Volk joined the firm in November of 2016. Prior to joining Thacker, Hodskins & Knight, he was the Fiduciary Officer and In-House Counsel for First Kentucky Trust Company and an attorney with Goldberg Simpson with a focus on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning. Nick currently serves as the treasurer of the Owensboro Estate Planning Council and a member of the Kentucky Bar Association Probate & Estate Planning Section's Legislation Committee. He is a prior chairman of the Louisville Bar Association Probate & Estate Planning Section. Nick earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, a law degree from the University of Louisville, and a Master of Law in Taxation from Southern Methodist University. Samuel B. Lee

Mr. Lee joined the firm in March of 2019. He is an Owensboro native and graduate of Daviess County High School. He attended the University of Kentucky, where he received a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Economics. He continued his education at the University of Louisville, where he received his law degree from the Brandeis School of Law. Mr. Lee has a background in litigation, including complex commercial litigation, product liability, and personal injury. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Daviess County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the Western District of Kentucky, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Kentucky State Courts.
